Meet Tara

Tara is a professional Makeup Artist located in Toronto, Canada, specializing in makeup for weddings & special occasions. 

​

Tara has been involved in the Arts most of her life, training as a competitive dancer. ​She has always been a creative and detail oriented person, with a deep passion for makeup since day one. Growing up, she spent every spare moment watching makeup tutorials, researching products, and pleading with family & friends to do their makeup. Not to mention, spending every dollar she earned on the latest makeup trends.

​

Always searching for more opportunities to immerse herself in makeup, Tara became head of makeup crew for the annual productions at her high school. However, this path took a temporary halt as she considered some of the other interests she had at the time. 

 

During her years in university, Tara thought she wanted to go to Law school to become a lawyer. It wasn't until she began exploring this path more that she realized this wasn't who she is. Helping others feel their best, while being creative felt more fulfilling and rewarding.

So, after years of delaying the inevitable, she decided to pursue her passion professionally and go to Makeup school…and she hasn’t looked back since. 

 

Tara graduated from CMU College of Makeup Art & Design. She received her diploma in Beauty Makeup, Fashion Makeup, Theatre Makeup, Makeup for Film & Television, Special Effects & Creature Design. 

 

Tara is so grateful for her journey because it led her to the career truly meant for her.
